Canadian, Please

I was doing research for my Contemporary Canadian class in attempt to find an example of Canadiana, and came across this hilarious video:

This makes me just a smidgen more proud to be Canadian.

  2. That is awesome...I have that video saved under my Canadiana file to post at a later time. Not sure if you saw his back lash (it stinks) but the way he responded was genius and so fun and I think so Canadian! (If you search Youtube for "He'll never be a real Canadian" I hope this link works http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CCXqOFjsiZs I've been reading your blog and I love it! I feel a total kinship being a Canadian that loves pink and preppy and Lilly in a world of flannel and non-prep and MEC.

  3. Teagan, I watched the other video! I can't believe someone would actually post that he's not Canadian because he's of Asian decent. Wow! Apparently that person has never been to a major Canadian city!

And thank you for your sweet comment! It's great that I can make someone's day just a smidgen brighter with all my pink and greenness! And it always brightens my day to learn about other preppies up here in Canada!

  4. You should be! While watching this video my nine year old says, "I love this video!" A few seconds later I say, "This is awesome!" to which he replies, "Yeah, it is. It's WICKED awesome! So awesome I stopped playing my games to watch."

I kinda want to be Canadian right now.

PS Found you from Teagan. Love her taste in blogs :) and adding you to my reader!

  5. Hey There! I am checking out your site and absolutely love it. It is a so great to find another fellow Canadian who obsesses over Lilly Pulitzer and Vineyard Vines. I'm from Alberta, and whenever I even mention anything preppy , my friends look at me like I'm from a totally different planet. The video is really funny by the way! Here's the link to my blog if you would like to check it out http://maddileigh.com/
